Once again we are pleased to present two more examples of the work of one of Latin America's most celebrated living ceramic artists, Eduardo Vega of Ecuador. The pair of matching lidded jars both have a bottom part that is glazed in a dark bronze metalic gloss and the larger bowl, 7" diameter, has a stylized bird as it's finial. These pieces were most likely made in the late 60s, early 70s.
