This pair of Porcelain vases have just arrived today. The taller is a part of a line designed by the great Hans Theo Baumann for Rosenthal. The shorter oval is another Hutschenreuther find. Aesthetically, the combined effect reminds me of Gustav Klimt's “Portrait of Adele Block-Bauer
I", the painting that Ronald S. Lauder paid $135 million for at auction back in 2006 (the most paid for a painting). Our pieces are obviously a veritable bargain in comparison. 18", 12.25"
