Good Dog
The Chinese refer to this classic critter as a "Foo Dog" while the Japanese call him "Komainu". This wonderfully detailed example sits atop a genuine censor (incense burner) and is from Japan circa the late 1800s. The style of pottery is Satsuma. 9"
