Cleopatra's Casserole

Every era seems to have its Egyptian-rival moment (and granted, we are playing a bit of free association here) but considering the fact that this piece of Bavarian porcelain by Prof. Lili Shultz for Hutschenreuther was created in the early 60s...as was the Elizabeth Taylor epic "Cleopatra"... might it be possible that we are discovering a design inspiration/connection?
