Oceanic Opulence

We talk about depth of color when describing the multi-tonal glaze of fine pottery. This word choice is certainly apropriate in the case of this spectacular Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg, Sweden, circa 1950s. A color scheme reminiscent of a tropical look down into this unique bowl is to drown in layers of blue, green, and turquoise.
