If you're looking for texture, you can't do much better than German studio pottery from the 50's and 60's. The tallest chocolate brown piece in particular has a gorgeous cork-like surface quality. The green and teal treasure has a great floating box design, while the back left vessel is a series of free-form ovals and grids. All are wonderfully rutty and grand in scale.
