Groove-y
'Wow' is what I said upon first sight of this 1950's lidded Jar. Handwork this intricate is rare in Italian ceramics of this era. Each drip-shaped detail is hand carved at an angle that creates a surface for the glaze to pool resulting in heavily saturated color. At 17" it is the largest piece of this style that we've acquired to date.
