Cubist Cowboy

A supremely rare ceramic sculpture by Aldo Londi for Bitossi of an equestrian riding a horse in a mod black & white harlequin pattern. 
So pleased with itself - even the horse is smiling!
The pair measure in at 17 inches tall and 12 inches long.

Marine Modernism

Another fantastic example of Alfredo Barbini working with Cenedese, this large aquarium lamp is just perfect for the ocean front loft of a modernist marine biologist, or a Hamptons "cottage".
The glass section is just under 17 inches tall and dates to the early 1950s.

Bamboo Beauty

This gorgeous piece of Rörstrand pottery is by Sylvia Leuchovius - a longtime artisan for the Swedish ceramic house, where she was employed from the late 40s through the early 70s. This late 60s piece, a celadon colored ceramic has a sort of bamboo stalk feel to its form and coloration.
