GLASS goes GOURMET yet again

Glorious in shades of sugar plumb and just in time for the holidays. One of our more practical flights of fancy are these hand blown long stem goblets as featured in Gourmet's November 2008 Special Holiday Issue. And special your holiday dinner would be. This glassware comes in all sorts of gorgeouos colors to compliment your festive finery. Cheers darlings.

Archival Financial Times

The economy looks bleak, but we all still need pretty things! London's Financial Times honored Stephen Saunders with this piece in a special interior design magazine called "Superior Interiors" they published back in 2007---when we all felt slightly more rich than we may today.

This October...CARAMEL is not just for apples
This photo is a still life I took back in 2006. Come see our current window display for a much more grand collection of delicious caramel colored cased glass.Friday, October 17, 2008
REDEFINE Traditional!

Just the fact that Traditional Home featured our pieces in an editorial is proof that mid-century modern isn't the only context for glass objects from the 50's and 60's. The forms feel at home in practically any interior. The flame-like color adds a hot pop to this eclectic mix featured in their "Decorate Like a Designer" issue.

DON'T Smoke! DO Collect!
Ashtrays are among our favorite objects to collect. There is such a wide array of styles. Some are like giant jewels for the coffee table. We use them in unexpected ways too... as the most luxurious candy dishes, up-scale tea-candle holders, or simply placed on a desk as a paperweight or rest for a fine pen.

Our glass looks great in both TOWN & COUNTRY

For their April 2008 "Cities We Love" issue, Town & Country featured this blue collection displayed in our trademark city-scape fashion. We feel glass looks fabulous when grouped...a great tip for the decorator who has a penchant for collecting!
